Il libro nasce dalla passione per gli aerei vintage e LEGO da parte dell’autore, Stephen Fender. L’autore, ha testato la tenuta dei modelli durante varie sedute di gioco, con bambini, durante le esposizioni, garantendone la struttura e la semplicità di montaggio. Inoltre ha fatto valutare, da appassionati di aviazione e addetti del settore, il livello di “fedeltà” del modello.
Tutti i modelli presenti, sono stati espressamente progettati per la costruzione rapida, utilizzando gli elementi LEGO più comuni attualmente in produzione, cercando di garantire a qualsiasi possessore di una collezione moderata di mattoni di poterli completare tutti.
Personalmente mi sono molto divertito a realizzare alcuni dei 9 modelli disponibili. Il libro si compone di 3 sezioni: la sezione Warbird con modelli vintage, la sezione Air Pirates, con modelli particolari, e la sezione lista pezzi. Ogni modello si presenta con le istruzioni passo-passo e non vedo l’ora di vedervi cimentare con questi modelli! Costruitili, Fotografateli e preparatevi a prendere il comando dei cieli !

The book is born from the passion for vintage planes and LEGO by the author, Stephen Fender. The author, has tested the tightness of the models during various game sessions, with children, during LEGO exhibitions, ensuring the structure and simplicity of assembly. He also had the level of "adhesion" of the model evaluated by aviation enthusiasts and industry insiders.
All models present, have been expressly designed for rapid construction, using the most common LEGO elements currently in production, trying to ensure that any owner of a moderate collection of bricks can complete them all.
Personally I had a lot of fun doing some of the 9 models available. The book consists of 3 sections: the Warbird section with vintage models, the Air Pirates section, with particular models, and the parts list section. Each model comes with step-by-step instructions and I can not wait to see you try these models! Build them, photograph them and get ready to take command of the skies!
